Re: [solved] [workaround] udevd-177-3

I think to many people jumped in saying me to me to on this one. Some of those who said its the same thing I do not feel have the same issue I am running up against. I also do not get how blacklisting my wifi driver will help me, since that would take away more functionality.

I also would like to try and avoid downgrading as I try that as a last resort only. So can anyone give me info or an idea how to find what my OP error is in relation to? As I stated everything appears to work but something is hanging udev. Wifi works for me so I am not sure how most of these responses about wifi are related to me unless the error I posted on udev is towards my wifi chip. Is downgrading the only way here to not have udev give errors and lag on boot?

Thanks for more info

EDIT:
I tried adding my wifi to the modules list in rc.conf and seems to eliminate the boot hang. Not really sure I get why that helped but hey it works. Thanks for those who suggested it, guess I need to wake up more before I start reading things tongue Though the only thing I see now is that my wifi device keeps getting its region changed a few times before the boot finishes it switches from EC to US to EC to US then finishes boot.

Thanks again for those who posted though and their suggestions, I will mark this solved.
