I can't let you tell that, because that's wrong. WMFS was recoded entirely, and if you want it, just take the wmfs2-git package on AUR. Note that some parts of the config have changed, but that's for the best.

The recode offers better global performances.

Just have a look by yourself.

Thus WMFS (WMFS1) is not supported anymore wink

Avtal is just private stuff like el-avtal and such. Studiecirkel is for a study circle I held at my local LUG, Uppsala Linux User Group

Because cover comes from a script. You can find it here: http://git.hax0r.se/?p=configs/.git;a=b … ads/master

Read the conkyrc before you ask why it doesn't work tongue

Re: February 2012 Screenshots

tY3VoZA

I work inside Ratpoison 95% of my BSD/Linux time, but when I get bored (or the miss needs to browse something), I jump to Openbox.
Screenshot contains:
Openbox3
dzen2 + custom script on top (the same one that I use with Ratpoison)
tmux
tint2 (semi-transparent, but the wallpaper is really dark at the bottom so it's hard to notice that)
urxvt (with real transparency)
compositor is cairo-compmgr
wallpaper setter is nitrogen

What you can't really see in this screensot but is still part of my setup:
File manager -> pcmanfm. If (ever) Thunar will get tabs, I might switch to that, but until then...
Browser -> Chromium
Icons -> Faenza-Dark
Gtk theme -> absolute-squared
Also, the menu is there just for the screenshot's sake, I actually run everything with gmrun (binded to Alt+F2 via xbindkeys)

Nothing really fancy, but it's all just the way I like it and it fits all my needs as far as a home desktop goes. I do most of my actual home work on some slave machines that run OpenBSD, this one is just for web browsing and some ocasional document browsing. I don't listen to music at home, I'm a movie/TV series guy. I actually use a dvd for movies even though I see a lot of people use their computers for that big_smile

P.S. I know no one asked about all these details, I just though I mention them in an attempt to excuse myself for having such a simple setup as opposed to the awesome eyecandy I see posted in here smile

Glad you do!
Here you go. I'm sure it's not the best way of doing things as I wrote is while learning some Python, but it gets the job done. Any improvemnents made to it are welcomed

#!/usr/bin/env python
#coding: utf-8
import sys,time,subprocess, datetime

color_green = "^fg(#bdc48f)"
color_red = '^fg(#cd5f0e)'
color_blue = '^fg(#66b3cc)'

while(True):
    volume = '^fg(#e0e0e0)' + subprocess.Popen(['amixer -c 0 sget Master'], stdout=subprocess.PIPE, shell=True).communicate()[0].splitlines()[4].split()[3].decode('utf8') + '^fg()'
    f = open('/proc/loadavg', 'r')
    load = f.read(4)
    f.close()
    if load[0:1] == '0':
        load = color_green + load + '^fg()'
    else:
        load = color_red + load + '^fg()'

    now = datetime.datetime.now()
    date = time.strftime('%b %d, ^fg(#e0e0e0)%I^fg():^fg(#e0e0e0)%M^fg():^fg(#e0e0e0)%S^fg() %p', time.localtime())
    hdd1 = color_blue + subprocess.Popen(['df -h | grep /home'], stdout=subprocess.PIPE, shell=True).communicate()[0].splitlines()[0].split()[3].decode('utf8') + '^fg()'
    temp0 = subprocess.Popen(['sensors | grep Core0'], stdout=subprocess.PIPE, shell=True).communicate()[0].splitlines()[1].split()[2]

    if int.from_bytes(temp0[1:2], 'little') < 5:
        temp0 = color_green + temp0.decode('utf8') + '^fg()'
    else:
        temp0 = color_red + temp0.decode('utf8') + '^fg()'
    temp1 = subprocess.Popen(['sensors | grep Core1'], stdout=subprocess.PIPE, shell=True).communicate()[0].splitlines()[1].split()[2]
    if int.from_bytes(temp1[1:2], 'little') < 5:
        temp1 = color_green + temp1.decode('utf8') + '^fg()'
    else:
        temp1 = color_red + temp1.decode('utf8') + '^fg()'
    status = 'cpu[^fg(#e0e0e0)0^fg()] {0} • core[^fg(#e0e0e0)0^fg()] {1} • core[^fg(#e0e0e0)1^fg()] {2} • hdd[^fg(#e0e0e0)0^fg()] {3} • vol[^fg(#e0e0e0)0^fg()] {4} • {5}'.format(load, temp0, temp1, hdd1, volume, date)
    print(status)
    sys.stdout.flush()
    time.sleep(1)

I run it from within ~/.xinitrc like so:

exec $HOME/Applications/dzen-status.py | dzen2 -fn "-misc-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed-*-12-110-75-75-c-60-koi8-r" -fg "#7f7f7f" -bg "#1f1f1f" -ta c &

P.S.
I just realized that my script has an error when calculating the temperatures. They get displayed in red no matter what, so definitely the check is not ok (if temperature is under 50 degrees is should be displayed in green). I had to make the script work with Python3, that's where I busted it. If anyone know what's wrong there, please feel free to drop in and say so.
