The initial bug seems to be fixed in the current Arch 3.4.4-3-ARCH and installing nvidia-beta from AUR even fixes the suspend/resume bug introduced in NVIDIA 302.

Nevermind, its still present. I tried to: Boot, Suspend, Suspend, Hibernate, Hibernate. That worked without problems.
Once I attached the device to an external monitor via HDMI, switching to a console is not possible again.
IIRC There was something with an f-word, a big graphics company and a prominent linux developer.
Maintaining the old X-Server version is not possible ( for me ), as KDE crashes on startup. Some ksmserver Segfault thing.

I can't test right now, but 304.37 is out, some good news in regard of blank tty issue?

I am still testing, but I suspended three times over two days now and I am still able to access he console WHILE being connected to the HDMI out. I think thats what messed up the console earlier times.
