first time in awesome wm, coming from KDE~ I don't know a sh- of LUA, but I think I kinda understand the basics. The theme was taken from the awesome thread, dunno from who exactly, I downloaded a bunch of 'em hehe, it's called 'blind-alien'.

There is nothing wrong with Twm. I use it occasionally myself.

Giving dwm a shot, like it so far. Configuration is still pretty default no patches added for now so it's still a work in progress.

I just update my configuration, obviously I use dwm, with customs colors and a fresh configuration of dzen2 + conky.
Currently Opera is my main browser, I'm not longer interested in Firefox . Anyway, if you want some of my configurations, they are in my Github page

Testing the new dwm multiple master window functionality.
Mind sharing that wallpaper please?
Btw, if those gaps and off-set terms drive you up the wall like they do me, you can set resizehints to false in config.h:
static const Bool resizehints = False;

I felt the need to have a light color scheme during the day.
So, I wrote a little script to generate harmonious color schemes (à la Solarized).
It is part of a project called thmkit.
Is that still herbstluftwm?
