Re: Getting Ethernet Working

I google'd the no servers in repository problem and they said to check your mirrorlist. I initially select by mirrors but now when I got to the mirrorlist there is nothing in it...

I tried running pacman -Sc to clean up.

If it had been in the cache, that command cleared it.  Oh well.
I think your best solution is to use the chroot environment.  You will boot from the install media, use its Ethernet connection, mount your drives, and change the root environment.  That puts you inside your Arch Linux installation, but will be using the kernel and Ethernet setup from the boot environment.  Then, you can install inetutils.   Then leave the chroot environment, shutdown, remove the install media, boot, and see if it works.

Re: Getting Ethernet Working

Hm.. I will have to look into that. Do you have to have a working disc drive to do that?
