[SOLVED] skype 2.2.0.35-3 error

http://www.archlinux.org/packages/multi … _64/skype/

I get the following error.

skype: error while loading shared libraries: libffi.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Is there anyway to get around this bug at the moment ?

That's weird. I use Skype from pacman and it works without issues for me

This was just posted, and should be what you need: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=58875

Its lib32-libffi5 and should fix your issues.

Install (at least) lib32-libffi and make sure your system is _fully_ up-to-date, _no_ cherry picking updates.

I can't switch to HTTPS on AUR in order to log in so I can't report this.

It appears I had lib32-glib2-2.32.2-1 installed.
I downloaded lib32-glib2-2.32.2-2 from the main repo.
Everything works fine now.Thank you.
