Re: simpleswitcher - lightweight EWMH window switcher

@anonymous_user, unfortunately not.  simpleswitcher wasn't designed as an Alt-Tab replacement, but as an alternative.

@Cavedude, windows key is usually mod4.  I'll take a look at keepassx, thanks...

@aerosuidae Are you still active in this project? The AUR PKGBUILD is very outdated.

Still using simpleswitcher, though it already does what I want, so just using it and paying vague attention to github repo. There have been a few pull requests for bug fixes and tweaks over time.

Thanks for the updated PKGBUILD.

Re: simpleswitcher - lightweight EWMH window switcher

isn't the man page wrong? under OPTIONS for changing keybindings:
-dkey  Change  the  key  combination  to  display window on the current
              desktop (default: F11).

              simpleswitcher -key F11
              simpleswitcher -key control+shift+d
              simpleswitcher -key mod1+grave (grave=backtick)
-------------
as you can see the examples just use -key not -dkey
ps Geany never shows up in the list for some reason- using Openbox - a problem using Musca is it shows up but choosing anything in the list does nothing! ie highlight Geany or Spacefm press Enter and nothing happens.
pps - still sad you stopped with Musca  it was/is just - Different!

Re: simpleswitcher - lightweight EWMH window switcher

maybe you guys are interested in the fork of simpleswitcher (simpleswitcher-dd-git)

it adds an applauncher mode, and most importantly a dmenu mode, which is 100% compatible with regular dmenu.

Re: simpleswitcher - lightweight EWMH window switcher

I would be if you gave me a link where I could find it - I am not using Arch so  if it's in AUR I'm screwed
ps, I'm a Douglas Adams fan too and have all his books, so sad he's not with us any more to write more.

Come on, you're not using Arch, but you can operate a simple google search?

Yes I found a few results but wasn't sure exactly wich version the poster was reffering to
I found the mention of someone called Dave Davenport and then a version that said it was based on a version by Sean Pringle.
