Re: Want an ArchLinux.info / ArchLinux.net email?

Still not back. Shame tredaelli isn't active here anymore, it would be nice to know what is going on and whether we could do anything to help.

Re: Want an ArchLinux.info / ArchLinux.net email?

shulamy: IMAP access has been working again for about a week.

But it might be time to start migrating accounts away from this service, unless we get word from tredaelli that the service is here to stay. I'm still using mine at the moment, but I'm not using it for anything new for the time being.

Re: Want an ArchLinux.info / ArchLinux.net email?

Is there any way to set up a spam filter with this e-mail service?

There is probably one already running - I don't think I've ever received any spam on the account. Apart from that, you could run a filter locally as you download the messages.
If you aren't already relying on the service, though, take note of recent posts and don't get too dependent.

Someone just bounced off a mailinglist of mine, because Google doesn't seem to like mails forwarded from archlinux.info:

I think it is officially dead now. The website now shows the following message. Other connections time out.

This domain has expired. If you owned this domain, contact your domain registration service provider for further assistance.

Re: Want an ArchLinux.info / ArchLinux.net email?

Unfortunately tredaelli resigned as a TU last month, and hasn't been on the forums in almost two years.

I think wouter is correct, and this community contribution is now dead.

Closing.
