This is not only trying to look like subtle, it even is functioning 99% like my subtle setup, really nice.

gtk theme is delorean-dark
xfce4-panel with generic monitor plugins and a workspace switcher

I love it smile

What are you using for tiling, though? I suppose you had to customize fluxbox to treat the workspace switcher as a dock, right? So apps don't maximize over it.

Did you customize the switcher yourself or is it part of the theme?

Cheers!

xfce panel in fluxbox is crap with maximizing, right. thats why i have my maximize button set to a custom size.
i dont use anything special for tiling. proper tagging of applications starts them where i want. and i mimic the grid approach of subtle with ResizeTo and MoveTo hotkeys

Ah, I can't get Fluxbox to behave nicely with xfce4 panel, too. At least not for those apps I use maximized. And in-built tiling (very rudimentary), also works poorly with the panel.

Which is a shame, since it looks and behaves pretty well as a workspace switcher. I just wish one could use DWM's workspace (tag, really) switcher with other DEs, I find it a very elegant solution.

i use this as a workaround for the panel:

from apps file:

[app] (name=term) (class=URxvt)
  [Workspace]   {0}
  [Dimensions]  {49% 47%}

and from keys file:

Mod4 KP_1 :MacroCmd {ResizeTo 49% 47%}  {MoveTo 10 25 LowerLeft}   {Raise}

and my Maximize command:

Mod4 m :ToggleCmd {MacroCmd {ResizeTo 1918 1038} {MoveTo 0 20 Upperleft} {Raise}} {MacroCmd {ResizeTo 600 400} {MoveTo 0 0 Center} {Raise}}

I don't use the ArrangeWindows function at all, as I dont like how it works anyway smile

Font is lime from artwiz-fonts package and GTK theme is my own personal mod of Clearlooks-flat-compact named as Clearlooks_penis.

@Rasi: you didn't mention which font you're using in your terminal, I'd like to know that, too.

Like a lot of setups I've seen here.)

So I place mine..
I,m sorry, but the pictures behind it, on Dropbox, are pretty big!
Still.. hope you enjoy..)

edit:should explain a little bit!

Bar used on the left en right are tint2-svn.
On the left side, only a taskbar, on the right, the clock launchers and systray en battery status.
The top icon on the tint2 bar   is to open the menu when the desktop is filled.
The background is a picture I made from a bridge in Liege, Belgium wich is called 'pont fragnée'
Here is a small movie on it on youtube, the concreet shore you see on the left around 21 sec.,
there my picture was taken from.)

Re: January 2013 Screenshots

Fair bit of changes from last month. Site still isn't coded up due to lack of time, and haven't been pushing to GitHub, so gripe at me if you want any configs. Wallpaper was from Wallbase. Term is URxvt with shading: 40. Colors are something from xcolors.net, don't remember the name.
