ArchLinux 0.7.1 with pekwm, pypanel, adesklets, and conky...

Could you post your .conkyrc please

The one in the screenshot is very close to the default .conkyrc file that came with Conky (only minor changes).  I've made some changes to it since then and have made it slimmer in appearance, and added some other fine tuning.  Here's the TEXT section of the latest revision:

Very nice bar indeed big_smile
I dunno how you make your bar transparent or eventually change its appearance though

$ import -thumbnail [geometry] is supposed to make a thumbnail of one's ss (doesn't work here)
your ss makes ~1.4MB, you might want to give import some argument like '-strip -quality 1'  (or jpg it at some price wink

Alas! There are over 35.000.000 images on devianart.com.
I know the original names & authors are for my ss : "Rouge_by_phboussemar" & "aQuastella_by_fuckNda" !

Re: November 2005 Arch Screenshots

the ibar that I  am using isn't supposed to be transparent with this theme, (only near transparent...) The ibar module is, like every module in e17, fully transparent if the theme is configured to let it...

Thank you syamajala & CyberTron big_smile

get-e-.org User guide says you have to recompile ? :

If you don't like how the default Engage module theme looks like, you can make it completely transparent (as long as Engage is on the bottom of the screen) by editing data/themes/module.edc before compiling it. You'll need to add "color: 255 255 255 0;" at line 34 - without the quotes of course. It should look like this:

rel2 {
                relative: 1.0  1.0;
                offset:   -1   -1;
                to:       "overlay";
             }
             color: 255 255 255 0;
             image {
                normal: "bg_h.png";

If so, I'll do it ASAP
But I see i have to read more about e17 and its modules to be succesfull

I never liked the look of KDE, but this one is pretty nice. What themes are you using?

Linspire Clear for both the window decoration and the theme itself, and a slightly modified version of Crystal Clear for the icons.

EDIT: I think I finally got the hang of virtual desktops smile
