Tampering with `bspwm' and `sxhkd'.  Using my own dzen stuff.

Gentoo?

Yes, Gentoo.   Recently switched due to being a complete obsessive-compulsive fine-grained down-to-the-last-detail linux user, but I had pretty much the same setup on Arch.  Only recently switched to `bspwm' from `herbstluftwm' and `stumpwm'.  I just can't get away from these forums..  the <community> is great.  I continue to use these for helping others and posting in non-Arch-specific threads.  If I have actual issues with my linux I will address problems on the other forums and not here.  Thankfully I haven't had to use them yet.

Thanks!  Well, the font everywhere EXCEPT dzen is my modified version of "Fixed  SemiCondensed full Unicode" to emphasize numeric 0's versus alphabetic O's.  For some reason I'm having difficulities getting dzen and a couple other applications to acknowledge my font even though I've mkfontdir, mkfontscale and updated font cache.  I have to use "xset" in my xinit for urxvt/tmux to find it.  Otherwise I have to use regular "Fixed SemiCondensed koir-8".  I also have some FontConfig configuration files applied for certain fonts/sizes/etc.

Not trying to send you away (I promise), but their community is pretty damn good too.  Clearly, Gentoo has the penultimate forums.  big_smile

Yeah, they don't seem bad but also don't seem as aggressively user active as Arch.  I also really like all the community contributions I find on Arch.  I may delve into the Gentoo forums as well if I find something I feel compelled to post in. smile

I will send you a message.  They're not "perfect" but compile and seem to work.  Still used to PKGBUILDs versus ebuilds but I'm getting there.

Edit:  They're currently on my github page..  still a work in progress.  Bear with me.

Thanks, great work! Maybe also nice to send them to the developer of Bspwm, he can place them in his github because there are more requests I think...
