@ bohoomil,
Yup, I do know about coloured man pages, but the PAGER doesn't seem to be less.

@x33a - bohoomil is right, the pager is less
@F34R - my dwm patches are in github (just to mix it up a bit): https://github.com/jasonwryan/dwm as well as bitbucket...

How did you get the information at the bottom of the screen, the one saying "Manual page tmux(1) ..."
Pressing ctrl-g, I don't get similar info.

My man_db.conf is just the default: I haven't configured anything other than the colours:
DEFINE pager less -Rs

Trying out a new lower contrast background
I apologize if I blatantly steal this colorscheme. It reminds of my college days using nothing but vim to do my C++ homework. Great job, w0ng.

It's not mine. I stole it directly from the editor in http://www.codecademy.com, who's in turn using the colour scheme from http://chriskempson.github.io/base16/#tomorrow, only with a diffferent background colour.

I decided to keep it fairly simple, at least on myself. I'm using Greybird for GTK (it's my all-time favorite theme), Faenza-Dark icons, across both laptops, even down to the same LightDM/Wallpaper setups. I can link to the wallpaper here

yayy! another renoiser
edit. @arinlares, that reminded me, and since you're using faenza icons.
I made faenza themed icon for renoise a while back.
I've switched to using another icon theme but maybe you might find it useful..
here's the link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hfucqrt987ag2lt/renoise.svg
