Re: Gnome Shell 3.9.92 ?

I'm guessing this is a bug with gdm and fglrx. I'm not able to start it gdm using fglrx

EDIT: Actually can't even get it to work with open source ati drivers. Works perfectly fine on Intel drivers though.

Thanks @JGC.

Are you using xorg-server-git from the AUR?

Re: Gnome Shell 3.9.92 ?

I'm currently writing this from gnome-shell running on wayland. I installed xwayland-git and xf86-video-intel-xwayland-git from the AUR. It works well but it is missing features for day to day usage such as copy and paste.

Just found out that there is a work around to not having to use Intel graphics like the Gnome Wayland wiki says:

Re: Gnome Shell 3.9.92 ?

Gnome 3.10 works fine on my notebook with radeon oss driver, works fine on vmware too. But when i updated arch today in my PC (with radeon hd 6670 + catalyst), programs its uses gstreamer like totem, rhythmbox and gnome-music didn't work anymore. All gstreamer and gst packages are instaled.
Someone had the same proble or knows the solution.
Totem:

$ totem

** (totem:3237): WARNING **: Element 'playbin' is missing, verify your installation

** (totem:3237): WARNING **: Element 'audioconvert' is missing, verify your installation

** (totem:3237): WARNING **: Element 'scaletempo' is missing, verify your installation

** (totem:3237): WARNING **: Element 'autoaudiosink' is missing, verify your installation

(totem:3237): Gtk-WARNING **: A floating object was finalized. This means that someone
called g_object_unref() on an object that had only a floating
reference; the initial floating reference is not owned by anyone
and must be removed with g_object_ref_sink().

xnoise:

 $ xnoise
**
ERROR:Player/xnoise-gst-player.c:1459:xnoise_gst_player_create_elements: assertion failed: (playbin != null)
Abortado (imagem do núcleo gravada)

Gnome-music:

 $ gnome-music

(gnome-music:3228): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_bus_create_watch: assertion 'GST_IS_BUS (bus)' failed

  self.discoverer.start()
Falha de segmentação (imagem do núcleo gravada)

Rhythmbox opens but don't play:

 $ rhythmbox

(rhythmbox:5082): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: Custom constructor for class SoupServer returned NULL (which is invalid). Unable to remove object from construction_objects list, so memory was probably just leaked. Please use GInitable instead.

Other thing:

Gnome-shell overview starts slowly when i use the program miro and the firefox extension downthemall. That problem occurs since gnome 3.8 with catalyst. Someone has the same problem.

Solved just removing the folders gstreamer-1.0 of ~/.config and home dir
