Re: October 2013 Screenshot thread

I found script to create colorschemes from wallpapers, and been playing with it the whole evening. Now I have one script to create colors for most things, including Firefox-theme (which actually means just changing one color...) and bar. (Original script: https://gist.github.com/radiosilence/3946121 which uses this: http://charlesleifer.com/blog/using-pyt … in-images/ )

Few nice looking scrots:

Edit: Also, bspwm + bar

Edit: Nevermind. I just want to know how do you make bold font in status bar. I've found the options from the man page.

Re: October 2013 Screenshot thread

I used your weechat config but can't see buffer list on top of the weechat window. All i have is only empty space. Can't figure out what might be wrong. Are you using any additional plugins? Great job btw. :-)

Theming weechat kinda sucks. Everything lives in different files. Install this extension:

http://www.weechat.org/scripts/source/buffers.pl.html/

And put it in your ~/.weechat/perl/autoload/

Put the following file in your ~/.weechat/buffers.conf

https://gist.github.com/windelicato/7244524

And then, (if weechat is already open)

/script load buffers.pl

Re: October 2013 Screenshot thread

2013-10-30-2309303584x1440scrot.png

I recently tweaked my theming a little bit. I got a little bored with the 'Orta only' approach I had taken for a long time. So I replaced the window borders with Atolm and tweaked the theme so there is no shadow under the text in the titlebar and the title is brighter (white). I use two borderless terminal windows on the desktop of my 2560x1440 monitor and there is a screen session running at my employer that I run through vpn on my 15" very old (1024x768) monitor (showing irssi, blurred out a little, sensitive info). Still in love with Docky as a launcher, after struggling a bit with bugs a while back.

The way things are going (starting to use windows differently) i might change to a tiling wm soon. I just need to play with a few of them in a vm to see if that's really for me first smile
