There is the tarball for nvidia-ck-325.15 (for linux-ck 3.12.x): http://max-p.fr.nf/t/arch/nvidia-ck/ I actually had to fix it for 3.12 if I remember right. I putted the older 325.15 packages as well for those who need it while at it
Thanks so much for this early christmas present!

Does anyone happen to have the older Nvidia 325.15* for i386?

They are in the new Arch Rollback Machine, just discovered that this afternoon on Reddit.

Thank you so much!
You know, this fixed both issues for me: the firefox crashing, and the defuncts.
Merry Christmas!!

Fanfreakintastic. Thanks for the links. You will also need kernel < 3.12 - I have found 3.11.6-1-ARCH in my pacman cache. Also during downgrade there was an error about existing files / folders. Easy to fix. Its also good to add IgnorePkg= in pacman.conf so You don't get those packages upgraded by a mistake while doing the full system upgrade.
[root@wishmasus andrzejl]# grep -i IgnorePkg /etc/pacman.conf
# Pacman won't upgrade packages listed in IgnorePkg and members of IgnoreGroup
#IgnorePkg=
IgnorePkg=linux
IgnorePkg=linux-headers
IgnorePkg=nvidia
IgnorePkg=nvidia-libgl
IgnorePkg=nvidia-utils
[root@wishmasus andrzejl]#
Thanks again.
Kind regards.
Andrzej
P.S. Sorry for such late edit. Forum had some problems could not apply it before.

There you go, older nvidia PKGBUILD that builds fine for linux-3.12.5. Not tested, but should work fine. I just took the nvidia-325.15-11 package, added 1 to the pkgrel and repackaged the tarball. There was an actual release of that package so it was quite easy unlike linux-ck which I had to patch a little bit.

Thanks. I will test it when time allows. Will stick to the current setup for a bit tho.

According to an nvidia developer, this will be fixed in their next driver release:

Good, because I have not updated linux* and nvidia*
I am using:
linux-3.11.1-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
nvidia-325.15-7-i686.pkg.tar.xz
nvidia-libgl-325.15-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
nvidia-utils-325.15-1-i686.pkg.tar.xz
wine-1.7.8
and have been using, since my first post.
I recently tried:
[PACMAN] upgraded linux (3.11.1-1 -> 3.12.6-1)
[PACMAN] upgraded nvidia-utils (325.15-1 -> 331.20-1)
[PACMAN] upgraded nvidia-libgl (325.15-1 -> 331.20-1)
[PACMAN] upgraded nvidia (325.15-7 -> 331.20-3)
and got the seg faults with firefox (some sites), and the defuncts
mostly from xfce4-terminal and the exo-open.
(so I will stick to the old linux and the old nvidia* for now)
(also with wine -1.7.8 because wine 1.7.9-1 is having issues with GL)

Can anyone confirm that the latest upgrade fixes stuff?
I can now ctrl + c the journalctl processes and ctrl + d the windows without bash errors.
I bit the bullet after noticing that if You keep older version of nvidia-utils You can no longer upgrade the system due to deps. I think its solved now... just wondering if its just me...
Cheers.

331.38 seems to have fixed the issue for me.
The weird thing is that I didn't have any issues with 331.20 on my debian sid install, with the same terminal (xfce4-terminal).
Anyway, it's fixed!

Hi.
I just discovered this topic, but had the bug with with a previous nvidia driver.
It worked good on 325.15, but not on 331.20. Upgrading to 331.20.

The new nvidia driver seem to have fixed all the small issues I had with 331.20. Now the terminal always close properly, I don't get defunct processes, and firefox does not crash anymore.

Yep, everything seems to have been fixed with 331.38 here. Terminals close as they should, and GZDoom runs properly.

Ditto, great!!!!!!!!!!!
All seems to be fixed. Making this as solved.
Thank you all for coming in and posting.
