Not upgrading for a while doesn't seem like a big deal to me so I don't see why as if it's the end of the world. And if it is, please elaborate on the reasons.
Arch is like a bike: it is stable as long as you are rolling.
Updating regularly is the only supported approach.

I have downgrade to 3.10 LTS and will be updating regularly again. But all your heartfelt concerns for my well being is appreciated.

Not upgrading the kernel will potentially leave you open to security bugs.
If you have problems with the latest kernel you can install the linux-lts package which will receive security upgrade.
Keep both installed, and choose during boot.
Would this be recommended in a case like mine? Upgrading to 3.15 breaks Xen, preventing it from booting. Re-installed, same thing, prior to 3.15 life was great, now I just want to go back if possible.
