I was inspired by tonk's setup to give bspwm + bar a go. Hours upon hours upon hours of frustration, I have this. Call it experimental. Configs are in my sig.

A dark solarized setup I've been using for a while now.
Clean:

Dirty:

WM: Bspwm
Bar: Bar(-aint-recursive) xft branch fork from raedwulf.
Symbol font: Typicons
Shell: Zsh
Term: Xterm
Gtk theme: Numix with solarized colors
Almost everything is solarized.

Nice scrots as always by the way!
