Re: Laptop lockup / freeze after resume from suspend 3.17.1-1

This is still an issue. Last night I suspended to RAM as per a wiki suggestion to unlock SED "frozen" status. The result has been unpleasant. I've been scrubbing and checking, but the file system keeps getting worse the more I try to repair it. I have a daily back up script that runs snapshots and rysnc (to an ext4 partition), but I still lost a day's worth of stuff.

More over, it seems to be effecting my fall back arch install as well. It stumbles over the btrfs hook that I, for some reason, put there even though I don't have any btrfs partitions in the book process after the initial RAM FS is loaded (I never got around to installing another functional /boot).

I'm running 3.17.6 by the way.

[edit] I'll still try to see if I can bring it back to full functionality without making a new volume by reverting everything from snapshots, but I think this btrfs experiment has meant its end (to be started up again because I DO NOT learn my lessons).

[edit2] I should mention that I do not have a laptop but rather a custom machine with an Ivy-E CPU.
