I got the same problem on Intel desktop machine...with Skylake after resume from suspend to disk. The same error with kernel 4.4.x.x.

It's unfortunate that the OP didn't update the title, as “kernel panic - not syncing” can have a multitude of causes. I suggest you open a new thread giving as much detail about the panic, your system and what you did to your system prior to getting the issue.
