I cannot test your configuration, so I am actually helping blindly ... glad you manage to boot too.

In case you want to try again, if you pass a (min 8GB) USB stick that works you can just install this way:

USER=yourname PASSWD=yourpass UEFI=NO SWAP=1GiB DISK=/dev/sdb GNOME=NOEXTRA BOOT_LOUDLY=1 sh archibold.sh

If you have more than 8GB USB stick you can use default SWAP which is 2GiB

Above install will configure properly GNOME for you and it should just work.

Then you have to open Disks from there and play with your eMMC that at this point should be in.

If you mount the eMMC to a folder, you can sudo genfstab -U -p / >/etc/fstab after backupping your current /etc/fstab so that it will mount automatically per each boot.
