Re: April 2006 Screenshots

Thanks for your post. I'm usign Xfce-svn and it doesn't work in Xfwm4. I think it works only for Metacity.

I thought xfwm could use metacity themes? IIRC the stable version could the last time I tried it...

I can use the theme, but the windows frame doesn't work. It isn't dark. For example :

I believe the border colour is controlled by the GTK theme. Check into that or something. smile

Re: April 2006 Screenshots

Please consider using GPL themes and not this Closed stuff by lokheed that you can't modify.

no the answer is not this. the answer is that cobble steals color from gtk:bg[SELECTED] and clearbox steals from active color.

It isnt closed. He can modify it all he want's, I dont really get what you're saying.

Whether he can distribute the modifications, I dont know, the author specifies no license. But it certainly aint closed.

The only way to write a closed gtk theme would be to write a whole engine, and the stuff by lokheed is definitely not that, it's just a regular pixmap theme.

The metacity theme in that screenshot by lokheed, is in the zip for the GTK2 theme in the zip you download off deviantart.
