See the arch bug report wherein I posted the patch that fixes it. Just build from abs applying that patch and it will be fine again.

Good to know. I've never built anything via abs (nor applied patches), so that will be a bit of a learning curve.

Learning Curve successfully climbed. A real quick cursory test seems to confirm that the remote is back to a single response to a key press.
