Okay... How did you get the rest of the panel to be transparent and just Verve show? smile

Actually, it's not transparent. It just fits in so well with the wallpaper that it seems like that wink

Re: May 2006 Screenshots

fvwm-crystal is a really nicely done configuration for fvwm. You can find it in unstable.

The suggestion box only accepts patches.

Re: May 2006 Screenshots

openbox is faster and i like the fact it was built for standards first then everything else. Also i used to be a fluxbox user but i kept getting annoying font bugs so i moved to pekwm but the lack of good themes and a few ui things didn't stick with me so i tried openbox and loved it smile

Your conky hurts my eyes.  Might look more crisp if you shut off the border or shadow or whatever conky uses.

Re: May 2006 Screenshots

Nope. Well, I suppose you could do it with Composite and trannset... But no, unlike Fluxbox OB3 doesn't bother with garbagy pseudotransparency.

Re: May 2006 Screenshots

Does Openbox have the same problems with unicode like fluxbox has?

An example: It your watching a page with "Umlauts" in its title (like a google search für Glück) fluxbox shows in the title of the Browser "Gl".

Everything beginning with the Umlaut is cut off.

Do this problems exist for Openbox, too?

I don't know for the Umlaut, but for all french accents (é, è, ê, à, ô, € ) there is no problem !

The program isn't debugged until the last user is dead.

Umlauts work fine for me.

Openbox is only similar to Fluxbox in design. Openbox 3 was a complete rewrite of the code. wink
