I'm using Xfce4 with candido-artworks from Cimi's repo. And yes it's me in the corner. The terminal is urxvt.

Whargoul: depends on the wm, in openbox it's rightclick the windowdeco and select "decorate"

Can you post your Xdefault/urxvt config ?

urxvtc -j -name Terminal -fn "xft:Monospace:pixelsize=12" -fade 20 +sb -depth 32 -fg white -tr -tint grey -sh 30

I've put it in .Xdefaults too now:

URxvt.title:                Terminal
URxvt.font:                xft:Monospace:pixelsize=12
URxvt.fading:                20
URxvt.scrollBar:            0
URxvt.foreground:            white
