Hi guys,
I have some troubles too, no hang anymore but only reboot from time to time, not quite pleasant neither.
For now I am using the kernel LTS since nothing bad happen with it, I am kind of upset too in some way but I knew there will be some trouble to live with when I decide to bought my ryzen, it s a new sort of cpu and faces difficulties was almost predictable that's the deal but damn ... that's hard sometimes .
To give you hopes you should take a look here :
https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=196683
People are working on it, that a question of time I guess, plus with Windows10 there is no problem.
Ryzen it very new and not every devs have one yet, time is needed to study that stuff, just hope we won't have to wait a year to get a stable kernel .
FYI I tried the parameter rcu_nocbs=0-15 with the last kernel 4.13.11.1 but still I have random reboots .
Kernel 4.14 will be LTS , hope it's going to be a good one.

But you don't have another motherboard, right? Just tell them that. It's not a big deal.

I seemed to have problems with windows and Linux.. but also this is hard to live with.. As computer rebooting once a while and getting errors on grub that I am unsure that goes to which log.
My computer boots so fast that the grub error is hard to be read. But I can remember it has something with Hardware error. (error processor hardware socket microcode)

Whats the possibility for having a faulty ryzen CPU to actually kill my RAM?
My another RAM died a while ago..and I was wondering if it was because of my cpu misbehaviour to causing it to break.

I don't know... I've never heard of a CPU causing RAM to permanently break.
Did you end up doing an RMA for your Ryzen CPU?
