I'll dig through strace and compare it with mine, see if anything jumps out.
I found a thread were user had similar issue with key latency but in the end it was redraw delayed. Read through this and see if it helps.

@seth Both guake and termite are running smoothly in KDE
@boojum That user fixed problem by switching from SNA to UXA, but I don't use xf86-video-intel, because I have a graphic card.

I did a vimdiff on yours and mine strace (both termite) and nothing jumps out at me. I'm afraid that I'm out of ideas...

I assume this to be a recent test (your older experience could have been broken by a vte update) and it would seem to be the compositor then which you only rendered out by the (now false) statement "Also I think issue is not related to compositor, because it is present after switching to TTY."
=> kill compton, if that doesn't help, try the behavior on openbox (in case the window doesn't float and is tiled by i3 and vte hates that or something)

Maybe this issue is related to screen repaints? Later I will try other composite managers than compton.
@seth Killing compton seems to fix problem, but give me some time to make sure everything is ok.
Edit: Yep, all programs are running without any lag I have to examine why compton is causing such problems, probably it is related to https://github.com/chjj/compton/issues/152.
But overall problem is solved, thank you for helping noob like me
