here's a better question -- what do you need out of your wm?

To wean yourself off of xfce, add xfce4-panel to your xinitrc.

It's pretty minimal... don't expect much from first glance wink

It's openbox with xfce4-panel, and the shadows from composite extension (xcompmgr).
