It's just DejaVu Sans, which is the same as Bitstream Vera Sans just with better utf8 support, which is what sans is on most people's systems anyway. So basically, it is just sans.

I used the bird shot for the background, which I stole from allucid (thanks!).  I'm not sure it's the one for me long term, though.

The shot is a slightly modded Rezlooks-candy GTK and modded Graphite blackbox theme.  And conky, obviously.  I'm still tweaking it.  But I like it.  smile

I'll agree fvwm *can* look good, but it also has a very high potential to look bad.  I've seen fvwm look worse than window maker.
