I see what you mean. When it's link that opens the 'Download' dialogue box instead of the File Chooser, Firefox saves without the high CPU usage. It's when the file chooser opens, and i try saving in the directory that has all those files, that it causes the high CPU usage. I'll just mark this as resolved, and continue to try getting the scheduler you recommending working to test.
Seth is much more experienced and he will not give you suggestions that are not related to no word you mentioned... What if you clear all firefox preferences in folder and see if that helps? backup your stuff. Hope you manage to solve that trouble
No luck with clearing the firefox preferences. The amount of files inside a folder i'm saving to seems to be the only difference that causes the high CPU usage.
