Poor Performance on GTX 1050 Mobile

Hi, I recently installed Arch on a Dell XPS 15 9560. After struggling to get X to recognize the display and prevailing by using optimus-manager, I have since attempted to use the GTX 1050 to play games, only to discover that the performance is worse than the GT 750M in my other system. `glxinfo | grep "OpenGL renderer"` confirms that the 1050 is indeed being used, however I'm not convinced it's operating as well as it should be, as performance is a far cry from what it is in Windows. I have installed nvidia, nvidia-utils, and lib32-nvidia-utils. Am I missing anything? Thanks in advance for your time.

Re: Poor Performance on GTX 1050 Mobile

what applications are you trying to run?
im not to sure why you used the optinus-manager for the laptop you provided.
If it did indeed install then is it using the proprietary driver? or the open source one?

what does lspci -k | grep -A 2 -E "(VGA|3D)" output?
