I've just installed KDE (This is not a new install. I had to do some CAD, and my go to i3 is not very well suited to that). But the system doesn't work very well because kactivitymanager keeps on crashing and takes other programs down with it.
I've looked at journalctl and tried starting it manually as well. Got this -
...
SqlDatabase: QSQLITE driver not loaded
QSqlDatabase: available drivers: QIBASE QSQLITE QMYSQL QMYSQL3 QODBC QODBC3 QPSQL QPSQL7 QTDS QTDS7
...
So I did the same thing, but with QT_DEBUG_PUGINS=1.
Got some funny stuff:
...
QFactoryLoader::QFactoryLoader() checking directory path "/usr/lib/sqldrivers" ...
Cannot load library /usr/lib/qt/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlite.so: (/usr/lib/qt/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlite.so: undefined symbol: sqlite3_column_table_name16)
QLibraryPrivate::loadPlugin failed on "/usr/lib/qt/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlite.so" : "Cannot load library /usr/lib/qt/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlite.so: (/usr/lib/qt/plugins/sqldrivers/libqsqlite.so: undefined symbol: sqlite3_column_table
_name16)"
QSqlDatabase: QSQLITE driver not loaded
QSqlDatabase: available drivers: QIBASE QSQLITE QMYSQL QMYSQL3 QODBC QODBC3 QPSQL QPSQL7 QTDS QTDS7
...
So there seems to be a problem with linking to the sqlite library. I've tried reinstalling it and kactivitymanager multiple times. The issue still persists. I've googled it to no end and this is the only
relevant thing - https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/880817/
I'm stumped.

Well shit, can't believe I didn't notice that. Thanks mate. Should have really used AUR for LXD instead of my own local stuff.
