[SOLVED] Touchpad stopped working. Software or hardware problem?

Hi,
I have been updating my system when I ran aout of power. When I booted up again I was not able to use my touchpad anymore. After googling and searching wiki I tried all the tips listed there and nothing worked. When I rebooted into my backup system manjaro the touchpad was still broken.
Could this be an software problem? That somehow arch changed something somewhere that broke manjaro too?

Here are all the commads wiki said are important:

synaptics_intertouch is set to true.

I really hope this is not a hardware issue because my notebook (xomi notebook air 13) is rare and I was not able to buy any replacement parts (except battery and fan).

Re: [SOLVED] Touchpad stopped working. Software or hardware problem?

updating my system when I ran aout of power

LC_ALL=C pacman -Qkk | grep -v ', 0 altered files'

Also it looks like Fn+Space toggles the touchpad.

Re: [SOLVED] Touchpad stopped working. Software or hardware problem?

You should regardless check the sanity of the installation if you hard-powered off in the midst of an update.

Re: [SOLVED] Touchpad stopped working. Software or hardware problem?

I have KDE something running and It powers my computer off when the battery level hits 5% so that should not be a problem. But I will check anyway thanks.
