i can't manage emerald to work.

I have installed beryl-svn and emerald with themes from the repo posted here, then i run beryl and the windows will move as xgl dows but withous decos!

ps. using ati card

Now it works with addargb bla bla bla.

Yesterday I have added it with nvidia-xsettings, but it din't work.

Added manually and eevrything OK. No need of Option AIGLX

update to svn 9/27, every effects doing fine but withous decos(- x o) and water effect. and none theme able when emerald-theme-manager on?

ps. beryl-svn + AIGLX + ati 7200(r100)

Got the beta drivers and beryl working fine here no XGL  eveything just worked when i installed them from the repos

Thanx for the PKGBUILDs brain0, everything runs nicely! Beryl seems much more smooth than compiz.

Like satanix, I removed Xgl and compiz, with this driver and beryl, averything is for the best!

AIGLX/Beryl running fine here as well. OpenGL accelerated desktop is awesome.

in the wiki page said ' export XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 to /etc/profire ' to solved the firefox crash by flashplugin, now that is problem all about.
get rid of it, and anything back with window decoration.
but still no water effects, i know, my card (r100) does't had shade-2 supported.

I am running the latest beryl from the brain0 repo.  I don't have any window decorations.  When I launch emerald from terminal, I get:

emerald: error while loading shared libraries: libdbus-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

You probably use the testing repo, and either brain0 is not compiling for testing, or he/she has not updated his/her repo for testing yet.
So you just have to wait...

For those who dont get window decoration with Beryl, try changing xorg.conf depth color from 16 to 24. Also make sure you have "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "true".
