As a workaround yes.  Looks like https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=206621 bug that bug reporter did not add linuxwifi@intel.com to the subscribers.

Well that certainly is a bummer, I assume the issue is the hardware it relatively new?
