That's *very* nice. What wallpaper are you using?

Thanks, here are all the 3 versions of that wallpaper:

Blue, 1600x1200
Gray, 1600x1200
Gray, 3200x1200

Have fun. smile

Yes, Beryl is a standalone window manager but it's rather uncomfortable to use without any management such as panels.

What with its alt-Tab window switching and Exposé style functionality I see no need for extras. Just make sure you have some way to launch programs (I use dmenu and bind the windows key to pop up a terminal).

Re: December 2006 Screenshots

Finally I found some time to spend setting up my desktop! It's a dark theme... I found it relaxing while working at night, and it looks good with my laptop as it is almost black...

I am using Eterm to display the log tail and the ftptop as I like to keep an eye on them. smile

Wow. Does Entropy actually work now, as opposed to being a crashy demo?

It "sort of" works, it still has random crashes that seem to happen for no apparent reason, but not nearly as bad as it used to be. I use E17 CVS also and still find it too buggy, for "everyday" use, Although I tend to use it time from time just for the heck of it. I mainly still use Thunar(even though it's been crashing because I am using Imlib2-CVS which for soome odd reason is required by E17-CVS).

Imlib2-cvs is used by epsilon/esmart/ewl and entrance, imlib2 is an _enlightenment_ foundation library (efl) btw (yes, written by raster and friends). So nothing odd there. Thunar, however, does not depend on imlib2, so your problem must lie elsewhere (or someone needs to update depends=(), ldd says?).

As for entropy, I'll take your word for it, I still use mc wink Was just testing out some of the proto stuff, I like the mpd frontend though.
