Re: New NVIDIA in testing!

May this crash by the cause of the new nvidia drivers:

The old version works OK

Re: New NVIDIA in testing!

i'll just use this thread for new problems with nvidia and testing..

i just tried to switch to the testing kernel and updated nvidia, but xorg won't start anymore with the new kernel.
i tried with nvidia, nvidia-96xx and nv, but none of them work. no matter if i upgrade to xorg stuff from testing or not.
this is what i get

my card is a 6800gt which works without problems with current kernel and nvidia from extra.
i downgraded to the current kernel and nvidia from testing now but kept the xorg packages from testing, and it works fine.
however, since 2.6.20 is supposed to become the kernel for 0.8, i thought you should know about this problem. anyone else experienced this?
