Wait, what?
The thread started out as "my usb doesn't work at all" and now we're at "how can I use my usb-c as display adapter?"… on windows?
Did you assure that the port works a all on linux?
Or was your previous "doesn't work" assertion in fact only based on the "doesn't work my monitor" situation and the entire "phone not detected, no dmesg, blablabla" just made up to conceil the actual goal?

Nonononono.
let me explain.
I started by testing a phone as well, to check if the problem is with the adapter or with the port. It didn't work either. Therefore I infered that my USB C port is not working.
Afterwards I installed Windows (Dual boot) in order to check if it is an Arch problem, or a hardware problem; I saw that the adapter does not work on Windows, either. So I concluded that there is a hardware problem. Afterwards, just to make sure - I connected a phone to the Windows, and it DID work, to my great surprise. So it turned out that my USB C port DOES work, but it just does not support the specific feature required for the adapter. And just now, after booting back to Arch, I tried connecting a phone again. IT WORKED. So probably at the beginning I didn't connect the phone well; I am really sorry for all the trouble I caused you all, for nothing.
So after that, I asked what other options I have in order to connect two monitors.
Sorry for being unclear and makeing that dumb mistake with the phone at the beggining, and I am really thank you all for your help!

There are usb-vga adapters that do not rely on the dp-alt-mode, but resolution and refresh rate is limited and linux support is not too good. Good luck.
