There’s nothing in fstab anymore. Something doesn’t feel right…

Are you sure you're not looking at the file on the live media? fstab won't just have emptied of its own accord. However, you can always regenerate it following the instructions in the Installation Guide.

If I AM looking at the file on the live media, how would I see the one on my root partition, considering that I CANT MOUNT IT and all…

Re: Computer wont boot

Are you somehow drunk?

If you can't mount your root partition, how did you intend to chroot into it?
Why can't you mount it? What kind of error do you get?
How did you obtain the fstab previously?

You do understand that mounting proc, mounting the root fs and chrooting (just use arch-chroot for crying out loud) are not the same thing?

*sigh*

Boot the install iso, make sure you've a network connection (see the install guide, "ping -c 1 google.com" to confirm it)

mount /dev/sda2 /mnt # does that cause an error?
journalctl -D /mnt/var/log/journal -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st # post the url

Re: Computer wont boot

Alrighty, I made a mistake. Turns out I was using an extra slash at the end. I don’t know why I was doing that, but oh well…
Oh btw, there’s no real point anymore here, I bit the bullet and reinstalled the OS. Sorry for wasting your time…
Btw, the point where I was using an extra slash by accident was on page 4. Sorry again and bye for now
