I thought you should know, the subtitle in the silver one is hard to make out at high res, I think it would be better if you put that in black font.

Yeah looks good I used Desaturated in Gimp and it looked all stripes .... much better thanks

[EDIT] could go down a shade but I can do that here I guess ....

Yup, thats right. I mainly use Firefox on my 32" lcd-tv, so 1024x768 is enough.

Edit: Is it possible to flip the greyscale? eg. so the dark is on the top right?

No it's not possible...my gimp wont do gradients from dark to light...

Just kidding...btw. next week my vacancy is over and work starts again, so my spare time will be much less
