Re: [SOLVED] No boot possible after system update

Your initramfs gets bigger by a bit so you might have problems if your space in /boot is tight, but that's about it for disadvantages.

Re: [SOLVED] No boot possible after system update

A wonderful good evening to you all,

Early KMS start seems to be the solution! I can now boot successfully again.

Thanks again for the help. I didn't really understand the problem itself and couldn't have figured that out from the log myself, but I learned something anyway.

Thank you very much!

This post was created by accident... Apparently you can not delete it.

No, you can't. You can report it for deletion, but that serves little purpose beyond keeping a moderator busy wink

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
