It's point- but likely also harmless.
Remove it, if that (probably) doesn't help, please test the LTS kernel (don't forget to install nvidia-lts)

Will be trying lts kernel tomorrow.

Maybe the error messages are tied to those "failed with exit code 1" messages in the journal, but I cannot know, because nvidia does not tell me for sure.
Also I do not get why startx works at all for the user and starts a working X even though the log clearly shows errors happening in the NVidia kernel module.

Guess I have to reinstall, still the same errors in the xorg log for the user. Note: I have uninstalled linux, linux-headers and nvidia and installed their lts variants instead, did grub configuration and mkinitcpio, rebooted, everything works.

Tbh, this does not seem like the links are related to my issue as startx does work as user, so I am guessing that nvidia drivers do work in some capacity, not sure whether they are fully operational due to errors in the user xorg log, however.

Something fucks up the permissions and restricts the rw to root and http.
Probably some rogue udev rule that's meant for the apache server and hits nvida by accident?

Here is the output, I will look through the files for any hints. I expected rule files to be located somewhere in the /etc, so sorry for false info.

This program is for debugging only, it does not run any program
specified by a RUN key. It may show incorrect results, because

I noticed even when I do
sudo chown root:root /dev/nvidia*; sudo chmod a+rw /dev/nvidia*
I still get errors in the user xorg log.
On top of that /dev/nvidiactl changed group ownership back to http and restricts read/write to others.

I have found this with the help of auditctl:

It appears that the /usr/bin/nvidia-modprobe is setting "http" user group the the device upon startx execution.
One can compare this to how the command sudo chown root:root /dev/nvidia looks like in the audit:

It appears to me that modprobe mistakenly tries to assign user:group ownership to the file with ids of 1000 (that is user dk and group dk on my system), but instead it becomes root:http?

modprobe -c | grep nvidia
The kernel module supports NVreg_DeviceFileUID NVreg_DeviceFileGID NVreg_DeviceFileMode and you probably set those somewhere in /etc/modprobe.d

Thank you for your help, I have noticed that in my /etc/modprobe.d/nvidia.conf I did something from arch wiki troubleshooting for notebooks and did not pay attention to what parameters the config had and as a result had the group id set to 33. I kept the config and restrictions, but instead restricted to video group and root user rw access and added user to video group. Now my xorg log for user is clean of errors.
Here is the link to the wiki that tells to adjust modprobe.d conig file:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … +Backspace
Maybe it needs some clarification for what NVreg_DeviceFileGID and NVreg_DeviceFileMode should be set to?
Marking this issues as solved (I assume I just have to edit the title).

Nothing.
This is only for "legacy" drivers (which one), but it's also anecdotal ("one user") unexplained and complete nonsense, limiting access to a random GID
Idk. whether the SoftEDID did anything or the anecdotal user ended up using the VESA driver and that "helped" in the specific situation, but it's nonsense.
So I just removed that inject from the section that talks about NVreg_Mobile
