Ftr, conky can theoretically track its conifig and self-restart on changes, but idk. how that's implemented (inotify or polling mtime) and whether it works on wayland compositors or pot. xwayland
But oc. there's no chance that you'd have succeeded changing parts of the config but not other parts w/o explcitily restarting conky.
Don't lie about such things, it makes it impossible to help you.
