Re: [SOLVED] system-config-printer failing

None that I can remember of, I don't do any Python development. Any way to check that?

Re: [SOLVED] system-config-printer failing

"pip list", but pip has been constrained to virtual environment use and will likely just issue an error - there's almost no way that you "accidentally" installed a package w/ pip and you probably don't even have it installed?

Re: [SOLVED] system-config-printer failing

Works here:

~: pip list
DEPRECATION: Loading egg at /usr/lib/python3.12/site-packages/cupshelpers-1.0-py3.12.egg is deprecated. pip 24.3 will enforce this behaviour change. A possible replacement is to use pip for package installation.. Discussion can be found at https://github.com/pypa/pip/issues/12330

Thank you guys both for your time and effort.

You're welcome.

They have updated system-config-printers now so you will need to delete the folder link before running pacman update.

That's rather weird, though. Most users on that thread seem to use EOS, do you as well?

I'm on pure Arch as well. surprised more people didn't have the problem as it was definitely there in system-config-printers itself. Maybe most just missed that update.

Noticed that two days ago, already deleted it. That was really fast though, hat off.
