This says "linux" but loads "linux-lts", is that a manual edit? Does "grub-mkconfig -o /tmp/wtfgrub.txt" generate the same nonsense (in /tmp/wtfgrub.txt)
You then have a bunch of options in the 'Advanced options for Arch Linux' submenu.

Nope, you're getting LTS as default and the other options incl. the main kernel in the submenu.
See the previous link on how to control that - if you want.
Offline
Thank you. I will.
It would be nice to have the same Arch Linux system usable with BSD, Linux and other kernels on the same system installation.
Offline
You cannot run archlinux w/ a BSD kernel, but of course you can have parallel installations of various linux distributions and BSD variants and select them with grub (just make sure to install and maintain the bootloader from exclusively *one* system)
Offline
I understand.
The note about BSD was towards future.
I would suppose that once HyperbolaBSD would be a possibility, people would attempt to port it to Arch Linux too.
Though, I am not sure of the matter of compatibleness due to systemd, which I am not fond of.
