I once saw the floating PyPanel at a screenshot of yankees26. I asked him how to handle this and he answered:

Yes, the panel is pypanel and to get it to start with different coordinates I used a patch made by rab ( which I put in my svn repo: http://jrosten.googlecode.com/svn/confi … ffer.patch ). My pypanel config if you want it (you'll need to see it to get the patch correct is here: http://jrosten.googlecode.com/svn/confi … /pypanelrc ).

You can find my wallpaper here: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/48178244/

nice...thanks for the patch. Had some trouble at first, but then I realized I had to use your the provided config. Anyways, thanks..

Re: March 2007 Screenshots

suppose this is as good a place as any, I got bored today and started porting the fluxbox theme i use (Incoherent) to pekwm.
incoherentwe1.th.png
still kinda need to futz with the fonts, but thats generally a personal choice anyway.
if anybody is interested it can be grabbed from www.nmt.edu/~aohnemus/Incoherent.tar.gz
(pay no attention to the stock pekwm menu there, i haven't actually made the move to pekwm so i haven't bothered fixing the menu, besides i live in rox anyway)

Re: March 2007 Screenshots

Actually i removed navigation toolbar, just right-click there -> customize, drag everything you want to menubar and hide navigation toolbar smile
i use firefox with compact menu, with that you can hide those menubar menus. don't know if it will work with epiphany. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1422/

Re: March 2007 Screenshots

lookin' pretty sweet.  at the bottom.. is that kiba-dock or engage, or.. something else?  or just a panel tweaked a certain way?

I've seen young people waste their time reading books about sensitive vampires. It's kinda sad. But you say it's not the end of the world... Well, maybe it is!

How did you get avant-window-navigator to work, it seems to fail for me... are you using xcompmgr?

As is true for most people I know, I've always loved learning. As is also true for most people I know, I always hated school. Why is that?
