Maybe @Wheatman can try finding an option in the BIOS that will disable iGPU completely?
My motherboard is quite old, GA-G31M-ES2L Rev2.0, so I am pretty sure that feature should be available on the device as it is on my device.

The nvidia GPU only shows up as 3D accelerator w/o a VGA device/crtc
It's not very likely that the IGP can be disabled, but even iff: the kernel module picks up the GPU fine. The problem is that the nvidia X11 driver refuses to handle it.

Yo it's completely leaving the nvidia GPU alone, can you now either "prime-run glxinfo -B" or "optirun glxinfo -B" (optirun is from https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bumblebee )?

What is "some reason" and also don't sudo that.
Also remove the static /etc/X11/xorg.conf - bumblebee will (hopefully) handle this.
Then also post the Xorg.8.log (at least pretty sure bumblebee used display ":8")

There is no Xorg.8.log in ~/.local/share/xorg, is it somewhere else?
As for bumblebee, I ran the command to add me to the group, I rebooted and that somehow fixed it, same error message though.

You generally need to log back in/open a new terminal after adding yourself to a group so that the group ownership applies (or reboot which will implicitly do that). Afaik bumblebee invoked servers tends to be a normal root xorg so the log would be in /var/log/Xorg.8.log
