That link works here in both Konqueror/KMPlayer and Firefox/MPlayer. The first time I tried in Firefox it didn't work; I had to press 'play' again.

I have recompiled mplayer-plugin-3.35, installed it and tested it and everything works as it should do.
I know it is not the most elegant way .
I think this problem is Archlinux specific, cause I didn't find it (yet) reproduced in another distro, and is (sort of) related to gtk2. I'm using kde with gtk-qt engine and gtk2_prefs to match firefox with kde style. I deactivated these to see if it solved the problem, but no success .
