Re: current wine version 11.19-1 hangs, won't start

~ $ export WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.cache/wine"
~ $ sudo modprobe -r ntsync
~ $ wineboot --init

still hangs

linux-lts also hangs with and without ntsync kernel module

Does it also still hang in the NTSYNC syscall?
Edit: even despite the module remaining unloaded??

You'll probably have to file a bug upstream - I don't see how anything on your site could be responsible for this.
