Re: The Official Hello Everyone Thread

Hi!
My name is Marcelo (aka maniat1k).

I'm an OpenSUSE user looking around this arch-world... I have nothing else to say, just a little curious about this distro... so I downloaded an ISO like a minute ago and now going to  do a dual boot on my OpenSUSE desktop; I notice a good documentation wiki and a couple of good post on this forums, another plus to test this distro.
I wanted to test it and maybe switch... Wish me luck! smile

Sorry my english, I'm not so good...

Re: The Official Hello Everyone Thread

Hello,
I'm a (Arch) Linux newb. I had been using some distros in past, but I switched back to Wind--{avoids rotten tomato}.. to Windows because of some programs I use. Yup, I had never even try Wine. I registered here because I really really REALLY want to start using Arch and so far I've had some trouble with it. So... hope you guys can help me.

Thanks for (what I hear is) a great Linux distro and thanks for having me!

Not according to their website:

KaOS website wrote:

KaOS is a build from scratch distribution, every package in every repository is build by and for KaOS.

Re: The Official Hello Everyone Thread

What stresses me is that header font. tongue

Anyway, good to see another distro using pacman, but as mentioned before, these forums (as well as the AUR, arguably) only support Arch systems.
