Hello everyone,
I introduce myself:
I like codes and other digital treats, I've been using Archlinux for two or three years but I'm quite discreet. I know of other distros but this is the one I prefer.
I eat wiki every day to keep fit & also love Unixporn so I get my hands on all file formats.

Hi,
I’m Ju, from Switzerland. I started a coding school 7 months ago. We have to learn a lot by ourself, do researches, try, fail and retry. I’ m new on Arch. I like the DIY aspect and I will learn a lot beside my school with Arch.
Have a nice day

Hi everyone. I have been using manjaro to start me up with arch for a long time, and unfortunately, I did not really learn how to properly use it. I end up having many issues, like packages not working, GUI stopped appearing, latte dock needs to be ended so I can run it again. Dolphin not copying all selected files. All these happened one by one, after every update. So I have decided that it is high time that I start reading up and to learn Arch, to prove myself that I can be a power user too. Today, I will install Arch, and build my own custom space, and maybe someday, I can contribute to progress. I am quite old when introduced to computers and catching up nowadays, seems to be very challenging with the emergence of AI specially.
I am a noob, right now, planning to run Arch as a Daily driver, and I want to be able to solve my own issues with the system, so I don't keep asking.

Hiya folks,
I'm Alix from Switzerland
I am a neophyte to the programming and linux worlds, Archlinux is my first distribution (best decision of my entire existence)
I am naturally a curious person, I like to learn and experiment new stuff. I'm also perfectionistI require what I do to be as perfect as I can't achieve it
I like DIY, I make most of my home cleaning things for instance
Archlinux caught my attention, I'm not exactly sure why yet, albeit it did
I hope to meet some people, whom with we would travel a great journey through Archlinux amidst all of those new captivating areas to discover
I wish thou a great day

@zaiakursed Hi and welcome to the forums! I have no idea how much AI is part of japanese culture already, but it doesn't replace the process of individual learning and understanding, in that regard nothing's really changed when it comes to setting up and running a DIY distro such as Arch Linux. Be patient going step by step and you will enjoy the ride (eventually) - the installation process alone will (most likely) give you a better understanding of your linux system - give it a try and know that there are lots of competent users who are willing to help you overcome any hurdles along the way (although it might not always be the kind of "help" some would expect...) Hello everyone, I am also new to Arch family, and I really like the archlinux.org website.
I tried Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Manjaro, Solus and I settled with Arch. Arch is so far way ahead of every other distro in my opinion.
My second favorite was Manjaro, after I see that Manjaro is based on Arch, I decided to go with Arch. After a few failures I finally was able to install successfully and my laptop was way faster with Arch.
I also like the idea that I only install the things that I need.

hi! i'm izu. i have previously built arch on a vm but i have decided to use a dedicated laptop as host and try to make it as my daily driver for work and other purposes. the reason i have just recently joined is because it did not feel like i really understood what i have performed when building arch previously because i thought my knowledge was not enough and did not feel worthy to join the community. friends think i am suffering from impostor syndrome but now i have decided and my mind is set to learn more about arch and dive deeper into it! i look forward to interacting and connecting with people in this community.
